Entertainment Link-Off: Settling A Score

It’s September already?! Time certainly flies. So now that the summer burn-offs are out of the way, there’s finally a few movies to go see at the theatres again! Most notable one is the action throwback movie Machete starring Danny Trejo. He might not be the eye candy you’re looking for, but he does make a badass action hero. Speaking of eye candy, Jessica Alba is in this movie!

Entertainment Link-Off: Flashes of Brilliance

For those of you in North America, this weekend marks the release of Iron Man 2! Leading off this ELO is Kate Mara. She briefly appears near the beginning of the film and that’s it. I know it’s a bit disappointing. I don’t know about you, but I certainly wouldn’t complain if Jon Favreau managed to somehow squeeze her in more scenes of the movie.

Oh by the way Friday Night Lights is back on NBC (Fridays at 8 pm), so remember to tune in folks!

Entertainment Link-Off: Back To Normal

G’day everyone! After a two month hiatus, I am back! I hope Steve didn’t scare anyone off while I was gone. Wait!!! Come back!!! Nooo!!! Dammit. Oh well, let’s kick off this Entertainment Link-Off with Kristin Kreuk. The former Smallville leading lady is now appearing on Chuck as a fellow Nerd Herder Hannah. Since she was recently cast in another Josh Schwartz pilot Hitched, don’t expect her to stick around Chuck for much longer. Let’s just enjoy her presence on the show while we can.

It’s a slow week here since everyone is off on holidays. Today is Boxing Day, which means everyone is lined up at the malls looking for a deal. In fact, I’m heading out to grab something, so I’ll keep this one brief. For those that do not plan on heading out to the crowded shopping malls, here’s something for you to read!
