Entertainment Link Off: Look Into My Eyes

It’s Saturday, so that means it’s time for another hit of the Entertainment Link-Off. It’s the dog days of summer at the movies and it doesn’t look like new releases would be making that big of a splash at the box office this weekend. Kicking off this entry is Rachel Nichols from her latest shoot with Maxim. Sadly despite her good looks, it hardly drew anyone to see the remake of Conan the Barbarian.

Sunday Link-Off: Big Picture

Is it just me or has this week flown by? Maybe it has to do with everything that’s happened in the world over the last seven days. But let’s try to get things back to normal with Salma Hayek who looks her amazing mind-bogglingly amazing usual.

The sports world has been abuzz with the impending collapse of the University of Miami football program after this Yahoo investigative report which details illegal benefits given to players. (Yahoo Sports) Of course, the U’s big mistake was getting caught. I’d be willing to bet it happens everywhere.

The other big story in the sports world is this feature-length interview of Michael Vick. (GQ)

This weekend at the box office, it’s horror flick Final Desination 5 facing off against action/comedy 30 Minutes or Less. Neither film is likely to beat out those apes for the first place spot though. Anyway, leading this off is one of the cast members of Final Desination 5, Emma Bell.

Sunday Link-Off: Holy Mackinaw

I’d like to say there’s a theme to today’s Sunday links but there really isn’t. For example, there’s no real rhyme or reason to kicking off with Miranda Kerr.
