As is required by provincial law, all government-funded entities must disclose the taxable earnings of all employees who make more than $100,000 in the previous calendar year. For 2010, 952 UWO employees made the list which is up/down from the 2009 calendar year by 58 (or 7%). Topping the list was Amit Chakma who hit #1 in his first full year as the President of UWO. NHL Power Rankings: Week 26
A week and a half is all we have left in the NHL regular season so we come to the final NHL Power Ranking of the 2010-11 season on The Lowdown Blog. It’s been a long run that has trailed off as of late but that’s what happens when life gets in the way. Entertainment Link-Off: Mind-bending Reality
It’s another loaded weekend at the box office. For those in Canada, you can enjoy the “greatest Canadian movie ever” (quoted from Steve Murray) called Hobo with a Shotgun. Meanwhile for the rest of the folks in North America, how about some eye candy galore in Sucker Punch? Ok it’s getting drubbed by critics as Zack Snyder’s first misfire, but the stylistic action and the lead actresses are worth a look. Kicking off this entry is Jamie Chung who plays Amber in the film.

The rankings will be based on their how they’re running this season (or in testing for this first race), past performance at the upcoming track, the performance of the car and other intangibles that affect their performance (see Favre, Brett).
