Update: Rick Porter writes a nice article on “Body Politic” – the best pilot you won’t see this fall season. (Zap2it).
Turns out, the rumoured schedule is true! While I do want to see the CW pick itself back up and bring back the glory days of the WB, I know that it will not happen, especially under the reigns of the current exec team. With a combination of rehashing old material, extending shows beyond their natural end, picking up bad pilots and poor scheduling, the CW continues to shoot itself in the foot. Oh Dawn… you’re really running the network to the ground. As the famous Les Grossman once said “A nutless monkey can do your job!”
Normally I could care less about CBS’ primetime schedule. I haven’t tuned into the network regularly since Jericho’s demise. I recently started catching a few episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” (which has been renewed for 2 seasons), “How I Met Your Mother” and “Harper’s Island”. Notice that none of these are part of their famous line-up of
You’ve already heard about the batch of new shows when NBC decided to announce part of its schedule
Headlining this article is the cast of “Flash Forward.” ABC started airing promos for this show during an episode of “Lost” in hopes of cashing in on the sci-fi/mystery audience. The network is looking to revamp their schedule as they pick up 11 new shows for the fall season. Unlike certain networks that prefer to scrap 5 hours of weekday programming or perhaps eliminate an entire day of programs, ABC is planning to fill the spaces with 6 dramas, 4 comedies and 1 reality show. Now the main question is, will they be able to pull this off?
“Don’t stop believing!” I got that song stuck in my head and it’s on full rotation ever since I watched the extended trailer for the new FOX show “Glee” (the sneak preview airs tomorrow night after American Idol). This is one of the new shows on the FOX 2009/2010 schedule. So does FOX’s schedule look any good? Find out after the jump.
So there is a TV God out there! While the official word will come out during the NBC’s presentation, multiple sources indicate Chuck received a 13 episode renewal, but there is a catch!
In another one of Hollywood’s worst kept secrets,
The television networks are preparing to announce their fall schedules next week. Headlining this article is Minka Kelly. The soon to be former Friday Night Lights star is set to play the lead in the new CW pilot Body Politic. Unfortunately the pilot is being overshadowed by
Normally I would post a picture of someone for eye-candy purposes, but I’m doing things a little different today. The picture on the right is Dawn Ostroff, the head honcho of The CW right now. Why is there a picture of her? Well I want you to recognize the person that’s currently running a network to the ground! Yes, if you want a definition of epic fail when it comes to running a television network, look no further, she’s right there.
