Sunday Link-Off: Desire

Entertainment Link-Off: Get A Room

I’ve drawn in for the entertainment links this week. Since Jackie likes to lead off with someone relevant in his links, here’s Minka Kelly who’s starring in The Roommate. Even the commercials make that movie look Razzie-worthy.

Epic Meal Time – The Sloppy Roethlisberger

Personally, I thought that last week’s Epic Meal Time Super Bowl special was a bit underwhelming. Then they came back with the most epic of epic Super Bowl meals. It’s 20 pounds of bacon, 13 pounds of ground beef and 11 pounds of sausage in a 10 pound bun. Top it with tons of cheese and Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and you have the 50 pound, 138,226 calorie Sloppy Big Ben Roethlisberger. Continue reading →

Fight Song Battle – Black & Yellow vs. Green & Yellow

I’ve seen people around the internet compare the WAGs of Super Bowl 45 and certain players’ hair. Now, Lil Wayne has given us another point to compare the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers: Fight songs. Yesterday, Lil Wayne dropped Green and Yellow, a Packers-centric cover of Black and Yellow by Wiz Khalifa. Black and Yellow itself is now the Steelers’ fight song. DiPietro vs. Johnson – The First Goalie Fight of the Season

I can’t believe we’ve had to wait until February for our first goalie fight but here it is. You wouldn’t call the Islanders and the Penguins a fight-breeding rivalry but it was at the end of tonight’s game. Rick DiPietro took a shot at Pittsburgh’s Matt Cooke and Brent Johnson took exception. When ensued was what I call a two-hit fight. Johnson hit DiPietro and DiPietro hit the floor.
