Entertainment Link-Off: Locked and Loaded

rachel nicholsIt’s time for another edition of the Entertainment Link-Off! This weekend marks the release of the highly anticipated G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. It’s one of the last summer action-fests, so head out to the theatres to check it out… I know I’ll be there! If you’re not interested in the storyline or anything, just remember this movie features a nifty fight scene between Rachel Nichols (pictured) and Sienna Miller! Mrow!

Good Idea/Bad Idea: Premiere Edition

The Humanoids is on hiatus this week. Steve is off somewhere in his secret bunker plotting to take over the world. On second thought, he might be still trying to figure out what “st****** m*****f******” stands for. I’m somewhat baffled too… it contains one too many letters to be “stupid motherfucker”.

Anyway, this might not be the next big hit on The Lowdown Blog, but it’ll do for now. I’m too lazy to keep this up on a regular basis, but expect to see this segment once in a while. Here’s the debut of “Good Idea/Bad Idea”. Continue reading

Entertainment Link-Off: Lost in Space

sienna millerAugust is finally here! While most of the summer blockbusters have already made it to a theatre near you, there are still a few more flicks that are prepping for release this month including G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. The film does have quite the recognizable cast and features some nifty over-the-top action, so I’m really pumped about it. Plus, it also features a very bad-ass Sienna Miller as Baroness.

She was also on Top Gear last week during the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment. Don’t forget to check out the series 13 finale of Top Gear tomorrow night!
