Today is Thanksgiving in America. Now, there are lots of reasons to be thankful for our neighbours to the south. There’s the day of football (even if the Lions are playing). There’s the big discounts on Black Friday. And they even Rickrolled the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. But to properly celebrate Thanksgiving, here are 25 women that make me thankful for the United States. Continue reading

Late Night Link-Off: The Great Linkdump Caper
Welcome to the first installment in what is our late-night linkdump here on the blog. We’re now negotiating doing a weekly linkdump for our pals over at a blog to be named when we complete the deal. These definitely aren’t the standard links that you’ll see on the WLO, ELO or SLO. Let’s call them rated-R links with some typical Lowdown fun and insanity. To kick off the first installment of the LNLO, here’s Taylor Swift who’s probably the least R-rated celeb in the world.
South Park just did their parody of food porn on last week’s episode but here are ten videos that are slightly more truthful in their advertising of food porn in a SFW sort of way. (Manofest)
After the jump sexual deviancy in sports, the greatest movie car chases, and gratuitous amounts of Yvonne Strahovski. Continue reading
Back To School At UWO For 2010-11
Four months of summer break have wrapped up and now the denizens of the University of Western Ontario are back to classes today. Actually, unless you go to Ivey, classes are back underway right now for those poor souls who have Monday morning 8:30 classes. To ease the pain of having to sit through today’s dreadful early lecture, here are some hot women dressed in the school girl outifts and other school related outfits (such as cheerleaders and librarians). Uncovering Emmanuelle Chriqui
I’ve never really understood why folks were so high on Entourage and Emmanuelle Chriqui. Then I saw this photo shoot that HBO did with her to promote the show’s seventh season. Now, I’m not one to promote a television show but I’m more than willing to lend a hand to promote a fellow Canadian. And after seeing this shoot, I can understand how she was named AskMen’s Most Desirable Woman of 2010. So after the jump, we have the photo gallery and a video. Continue reading
Wednesday Link-Off: Do or Do Not…
This weekend was my annual trip to a NASCAR race so I missed this week’s SLO. I’ve got plenty of links to power through. But first here’s Eva Mendes. She could do better than her previous sex tape.
Here is one of the greatest lists in the history of the galaxy (far, far away). It’s the Top 100 Star Wars characters of all-time (including the Expanded Universe). (IGN)
Top Gear: USA is coming soon to the History Channel. Hopefully, we’ll get it in Canada too. Anyway, for TG fans, here’s a preview of the upcoming season. (Jalopnik)

Wednesday Link-Off: Ready for Kickoff
I didn’t realize that the MTV Movie Awards were this weekend. On the plus side, it meant we got to see more of Katy Perry.

I’ve mentioned recently that my favourite recent discovery on Twitter is @BuzzBissinger. Want a look inside the mind of the foul-mouthed Pulitzer Prize winner? Click here douche juices. (Philadelphia Magazine) I’m probably using Buzz’s favourite new word wrong.
After the jump, we gear you up for the World Cup, Bernie Madoff’s a prison yard hero, and don’t mess with La Parka. Continue reading

For the third time in the 2009-2010 season, the Western Mustangs’ legendary cheerleading squad has picked up the coveted Sports Illustrated Cheerleader of the Week award. Now, second-year cheerleader Ellyn D’Uva has collected the honour yet again for the Stangs. After the jump, catch her SI interview and pics. Continue reading
Chuck Season Three Finale Primer
Seventeen episodes down and only two to go. Tonight marks the end of the third season of Chuck. Unlike last season, the show has already been renewed for a fourth season. But just because the show is safe from cancellation doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be watching it. Unlike last night’s Lost finale, catching you up for tonight’s finale of Chuck should be fairly straight-forward. Continue reading
