After fifteen days of action, the field still in the running for the Stanley Cup has been cut in half. For the most part, the first round was full of unpredictable action. Despite how oddly the post-season started, only wins by Philadelphia, Boston, and Montreal could be considered upsets. After going seven for eight in the opening round of the playoffs, I try to maintain my stellar record as I preview and predict the NHL’s conference semi-final round. Lowdown Radio: April 27, 2010

Tuesday night means it’s time for another episode of The Lowdown. Tonight’s episode picks up as the logical sequel to last week’s. The last episode featured exam tips. This week was tips to pass the summer now that exams are done. After Steve’s failed musical tips, Jackie bails everyone out with a look at the biggest Hollywood blockbusters of the summer. The news talks about strip clubs and police officers having sex on duty (which includes a discussion about types of threesomes). Entertainment features Jackie’s new single of the week and It Came YouTube from a galaxy far, far away. Sports sees the guys hand out their 2009/10 NHL awards. Tonight’s show is a great way to kick off the summer.
