When Steam launched the 2014 edition of the Steam Summer Sale, it came with a new wrinkle that no one saw coming. No, I’m not talking about the four packs of Community Picks. This time out, Steam introduced the Summer Adventure to the sale. While it looks like a little competition between users for prizes, it’s actually another quiet way for Valve to make a few dollars more from Steam.

The cars with the best strategy and best pit stops made it to the front. He might not have had the fastest car but Nico Rosberg had the fastest race en route to his third win of the season.

Game of Thrones: The Children Review
Episode Tens are usually quiet episodes in Game of Thrones seasons. The big moments from the last couple of episodes are very neatly tied up with some new plot threads dangled to keep you interested in the next season. While those fresh threads were teased in this episode, a lot more than just quick little tie-ups happened this week. Yeah, I can see why the producers submitted this for a writing Emmy.

After a one-race trip to the Americas for the Canadian Grand Prix, it’s a return to Europe for the return of the Austrian Grand Prix. The A1 Ring has been slightly updated since the last time that Formula One raced there. One thing that hasn’t changed is the rules governing team orders. Well, the rules changed and changed back. Not that team orders were ever an issue in Austria.

I don’t know how I’ve managed to get so unbelievably busy that I’m losing track of what blogging needs to be done. I nearly missed yesterday, I haven’t started on Thursday’s F1 Power Rankings and I didn’t get a chance to do the 24 Hours of Le Mans write-up. Well, maybe next week will be better.
