2012 Hottest Canadian: Final Four

After two weeks, we finally exited the regions stages of the competition and are left with only four women who can take home the crown of the Hottest Canadian for 2012. The Elite Eight was closely contested and left us with three upsets and only one #1 seed surviving out of the three that made it to the round of eight. UWO Releases 2011 Sunshine List

As mandated by the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act of 1996, you found out what most of your professors got paid for 2011 on Friday. When I went to UWO, this was one of my favourite days too. Learning stuff that doesn’t have too many practical applications in real life (for disclosure’s sake, I was in social sci) is made that much easier by knowing that someday I could teach kids nothing and get well compensated for it. F1 Malaysian GP: Slip and Slide

A race that would have been very straight forward for the McLaren if it stayed dry became an instant classic thanks to the changing conditions of the Sepang Circuit. In the end, it wasn’t the Mercedes-powered cars that led the way but the Ferraris that were in front at the end of the race. The first driver across the line was Fernando Alonso but he wasn’t the star of the race. The real hero of the day was Sergio Perez who hounded Alonso home to finish in second. Continue reading

2012 Hottest Canadian: Elite Eight

We’re down to the eight hottest Canadian women as voted by our readers. This round is our regional finals as each of the four “regions” that we broke the bracket into crown their champions.
