Halloween is just two days away. There’s just one problem for me, though. I haven’t carved a pumpkin yet. Now everyone knows how to carve a standard Jack-o-Lantern but I really don’t want to do standard. That’s why I looked up some amazing looking Jack-o-Lantern for inspiration. Maybe you should take note when carving yours. Continue reading

The College Sexicon
ABC News’ Nightline is considered a respectable news program in the world of American television (which is a relative thing). However, on Monday, they left the beaten path of important news to warn America of a peril that is sweeping the college campuses of their great nation. Apparently, young people are having sex and talking about it online. Oh, the shock and horror of it all.
Getting past all the shock of the sleeping pensioners that “watch” Nightline, one good thing came out of last night’s episode. They’ve come up with a new “sex lexicon” of college hook-up terms for the over 65 crowd. I thought it was so good that we’re sharing their sexicon with you after the jump. Continue reading
When Drunks Attack The UWO Email System
We got a tip over Twitter that some drunk students stumbled across UWO’s mailing list for all students. Fortunately for us, UWO’s IT department hasn’t limited access to the mailing list which meant that early Sunday morning, students were bombarded with ridiculous emails. The emails had messages professing love for everyone to hatred of Queen’s to the library’s hours. Continue reading
The Best of Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2010
Barrett-Jackson only runs four of its world-famous collector car auctions each year. The final auction is one of its newer ones. This week is Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction which appropriately takes place on The Strip at the Mandalay Bay Resort. Every year, millions of people drop billions of dollars in casinos looking to win the big jackpot. At Barrett-Jackson, car buyers will spend millions of dollars hoping to hit the jackpot by buying the car of their dreams or a collector car that will increase in value. So here are ten of my favourite cars from this week’s auction that will at least be cool for the lucky buyer that hits the auction block jackpot. Continue reading
Back To School At UWO For 2010-11
Four months of summer break have wrapped up and now the denizens of the University of Western Ontario are back to classes today. Actually, unless you go to Ivey, classes are back underway right now for those poor souls who have Monday morning 8:30 classes. To ease the pain of having to sit through today’s dreadful early lecture, here are some hot women dressed in the school girl outifts and other school related outfits (such as cheerleaders and librarians). Top 10 Orange County Choppers Bikes
I’ve mentioned a few times that I’m a huge fan of American Chopper. I thought the show was better while it was still on Discovery Channel but it’s still a decent show on TLC. We’re missing out on some of the fun and games around the OCC shop but the star of the show is still the same. It’s still a show about the bikes that OCC builds. Over the 11 years that OCC has been around, the Teutels and company have pumped out some amazing bikes. So here’s my Top 10 Best OCC bikes. Continue reading

Now, second-year cheerleader Ellyn D’Uva has collected the honour yet again for the Stangs. After the jump, catch her SI interview and pics. Continue reading

The Best of Barrett-Jackson 2010
This week is the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s the premier classic and rare car auction in the world. It’s the sort of thing that rich people go to for buying new status symbols and where real men go to drool over what basically is automotive erotica. It’s basically a week-long celebration of the car where gearheads are king. So to celebrate the year’s biggest car show where the cars and not the manufacturers are the stars, here are some of the best cars going on the auction block this year. Continue reading
Swine Flu Preparedness Tips And Advice
The current near hysteria over the H1N1 virus, commonly referred to a Swine Flu, has gripped the world. It’s gotten so bad that I’m getting emails at my 9-to-5 about how to prevent the spread of the Swine Flu. That’s in addition to the corporate email that says stay home if you get the sniffles and if there’s an outbreak, you’ll get a message from the company’s emergency planning hotline. Naturally, I couldn’t just post this latest message without a bit of editorializing in the classic FJM-style. So, here’s some advice to avoid the Swine Flu from a real doctor… I think.
