The highly anticipated weekend for the Game of Thrones premiere is finally here. Rather than pondering over Jon Snow’s fate, let’s just take some time and go through this week’s ELO shall we? Meanwhile in Australia, you can get first dibs on The Huntsman: Winter’s War. In that film, you can catch the return of Charlize Theron in her villainous role! It appears that Batman v Superman is still taking the box office by storm as superhero fans continue to flock to the cinemas for Zack Snyder’s divisive film. So the hotly anticipated Batman v Superman has finally hit theatres this weekend. The reviews are pouring in and they have been less than kind. While it is beautifully shot, the movie itself was a bit of a mess with an overstuffed third act. Anyway, go have a look for yourself! You’ll spot Amy Adams in the flick as Lois Lane.

I don’t know about you, but I’ll be camping at home with Netflix on this weekend since Daredevil seaosn 2 has finally premiered. That’s right! Despite the fairly short notice (the trailer popped up in January), there seems to be a lot of buzz surrounding the Cloverfield non-sequel. Reviews have been very kind as well! It’s time for the weekly links to a random selection of links related to movies, TV and whatnot! In cinemas this weekend, you got the CGI heavy Gods of Egypt (which looks awful) and the all-star action thriller Triple 9 (which is almost fresh on RT). However if you prefer to stay at home, there’s the release of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny on Netflix. Reviews have not been too kind and even I’m hesitant on checking it out until I saw Ju Ju Chan on the red carpet for the show’s premiere.

I’m back! It’s been a few weeks but I finally got proper internet access to start posting the ELO’s again! While I’ve been gone, I still managed to check out the new releases in theatres. Deadpool is a must see, while Zoolander 2 is a bit of a misfire. Anyway, let’s get on with the links! Kicking this ELO off with Elodie Yung. She’s set to appear in Gods of Egypt soon and also she’ll be playing Elektra in season 2 of Daredevil premiering next month.

The weekend is finally here! Time to sit back and check out the new releases like Dirty Grandpa or The 5th Wave in cinemas. Based on the reviews though, perhaps Netflix and chill doesn’t seem so bad now. Anyway, Legends of Tomorrow premiered earlier this week on The CW and the show is off to a solid start. Heck, just seeing Caity Lotz on the screen is totally worth devoting my time to the show.
