When I interviewed Rich back on April 14th, I kept looking for the right word to describe him. He would say something that would take me back a bit and I couldn’t think of the right word to describe it. It was intense but that wasn’t the right word. He wasn’t preachy, far from it. WWE Monday Night Raw Semi-Live Blog
After all the arguing, insults, and general lunacy of last week, we’re set for another edition of Monday Night Raw. After the NBA announced the schedule for the Western Conference Finals, the WWE were thrown out of Denver’s Pepsi Center. Without a home for a couple of days, it was the home of the L.A. Hockey (Last) Night In Canada: The Injury Bug Bites Back
Giving up a three goal lead and losing your #1 goalie would be enough to put most teams down for the count. The Blackhawks fought past that to win game three and cut Detroit’s lead in the series in half. Now they have the momentum for game four but had to win without Nikolai Khabibulin. But Detroit was without Nick Lidstrom and Pavel Datsyuk for game four as well. With both teams without some of their stars, it would be a test of depth to determine the winner. Continue reading
Sunday At The Races
For thirty-five years, the final Sunday in May has been host to three of the most prestigious motor races in the world. The day starts with the crown jewel of the Formula One World Championship, the 67th running of the Grand Prix of Monaco. At midday in North America, the crown jewel of American racing is run, the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. The day ends with the longest annual oval race in the world and one of NASCAR Sprint Cup’s “Grand Slam” events, the Coca-Cola 600.

Hockey (Last) Night In Canada: Calming The Storm
Despite losing two straight in Pittsburgh, the Cardiac Canes had to feel good heading home to the loudest arena in the NHL. Home teams have won two-thirds of conference semi-final and conference final games. A win would keep Carolina’s hopes of a second Cup Finals in four years alive. But the Penguins were looking to be that road team that wins one out of three. A win last night would leave Pittsburgh one win away from a return trip to the finals. Continue reading

Which Team Should Adopt Michael Vick?
I’m sure you’ve heard by now that former NFL star and admitted dog abuser Michael Vick has been released from prison and is now under house arrest. Upon his release talk immediately turned to what Vick would do next. Would NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reinstate Vick and allow him to play this season? Would any team have anything to do with a player with as much “baggage” as Vick? Well, I’d like to have a little fun with this whole story and speculate where the man otherwise known as Ron Mexico might end up complete with low-grade photoshop work. Continue reading
Breaking News: WWE Raw Going to L.A.
As reported by CNBC’s Darren Rovell, WWE’s Monday Night Raw will go live next Monday from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Rovell says that no money changed hands but I would find that hard to believe because Denver wrestling fans have been jilted and the WWE has to sell tickets for the show. The WWE had also entertained an offer from Madison Square Garden in New York. Continue reading
