Best of The Telegraph’s Sign Language (Part 8)
Every week, the website of British newspaper The Daily Telegraph runs a feature called Sign Language. In this, they run the funniest signs that their readers spotted around the world. Most are examples of signs getting lost in translation but others are just plain confusing or ironic. So as part of our continuing best of the interweb series, here are twenty of the best sign fails that Telegraph readers have come across in recent weeks.
F1 Power Rankings: Hungarian Grand Prix
We’ve come to the final race before the annual Formula One summer break. Well, this week, racing takes a break because we’re going to the Hungaroring which is a terrible excuse for a racing circuit. As a parade route, it’s alright. If you’re hoping for on-track passing, try something else this weekend. At least the lack of passing should help Mercedes.
Wednesday Link-Off: Apart From the Royal Baby…
I don’t know if you heard but a royal baby was born on Monday. However, since it’s not really a news story and won’t affect 99.99% of us in any way, I won’t be mentioning it here. We have other news that you might have missed. First, though, we have Lithuanian model Edita Vilkeviciute.

Formula One: 2013 Young Drivers Test Recap
To call this year’s edition of the Young Drivers Test a bit of a misnomer wouldn’t be off the mark. In addition to being a three-day test for teams to evaluate up and coming talent that hasn’t run a Grand Prix, it was also a Pirelli tyre test for the usual race drivers. In other words, it was a hodgepodge of drivers at a supposed Young Drivers Test.
Still, we got a look at the future of F1 and perhaps a look at Red Bull’s plans for the near future.

Will The Xbox One Be Your Overly Attached Girlfriend? (Infographic)
Microsoft might have gotten rid of the online check-in DRM requirements for the Xbox One but doesn’t mean that it isn’t still watching you. We’ve all read that it’s built around advertising with the Kinect integral to making that advertising work better for advertisers. The Kinect always watching and Microsoft’s compliance in giving data to the NSA doesn’t make me feel better about it.

Sorkin, The Newsroom and the Price of Perfection
When you talk about great modern TV series, the conversation will always include a mention of Aaron Sorkin. The man was the driving force behind not one but two modern classics, Sports Night and The West Wing.
However, Sorkin’s current series, The Newsroom, isn’t considered a classic by most TV critics. It’s not because it’s a bad show. Anyone that has watched network TV over the last few years will know that most series on TV now are pretty poor. Critics don’t like The Newsroom because it doesn’t live up to Sports Night and The West Wing.
That’s the problem when you set the standard too high.
