Best Images of the 2011 Winter Classic

Since 2008, the biggest game of NHL season has been the New Year’s Day outdoor game called the Winter Classic. This year saw the Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin rivalry renewed on the NHL’s biggest stage. The game was originally scheduled to be played in the afternoon but weather pushed puck drop back to Saturday night.
