Apart from Monaco, the most prestigious race on the Formula One calendar is the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. While Monaco has all the glitz and glamour, Monza is the heart of the sport. The fans at this race, mostly the tifosi, are the most passionate for the sport of any crowd of the season. Spraying champagne on a sea of red-clad fans is a highlight for any driver.

Wednesday Link-Off: Labour Day Blues
With Labour Day come and gone, I think that means that summer is over. Well, I think summer was over early for me. It was 13°C on Monday. I’m glad that I did my grilling on Saturday and Sunday instead because I would have needed a winter coat for Labour Day.

The narrow city streets of Baltimore and tight corners resulted in Dallara being the big winner of the weekend as they’ll make a mint off of selling replacement parts. On track, it was Simon Pagenaud who kept his nose relatively clean en route to his second win of the season.
