Enrique Iglesias is one of the all-time great Worst of Music singers. If I gave out lifetime achievement awards, Enrique would be a front-runner to win the first one. With songs like Be With You, Bailamos, Hero and I Like It, it’s a wonder how he’s still allowed to still make music. Well, he’s back again featuring Ludacris with Tonight.
I should note off the top that this is the safe for radio version of the song. The proper version of the song is Tonight (I’m Fucking You). Like Bruno Mars’s song Grenade, this song obviously has nothing to do with the singer’s life. He goes home to Anna Kournikova. What more could he want? At least the inclusion of Ludacris is welcome but Luda is turning up far too often as a featuring artist on the WoM. Anyway, that sighing-ish thing Enrique does isn’t in as full force here as his other songs but it’s still annoying. The music is built just be played in clubs and is only tolerable on some strong drugs. Have I mentioned the gratuitous use of autotune yet? And watching this video, I somehow think that Ben Roethlisberger would approve of Enrique. Just sayin’…
So congrats, Enrique. You’ve won the prestigious Worst of Music award for this week.

You’ve to stop numbling, enrique is one of the best artists since 15 years ago, and you should respect him because he has many fans across the world. Maybe a sense of envy is killing you, isn’t it???

It’s sad that you think songs like Be With You, Bailamos and Hero is not good music. What the hell do you listen to? If fact I don’t even want to know. He’s wrote and sang about 135 songs since 1995, and is not onl a talented lyricist but a great singer. Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You) and I Like It are actually his worst songs, because of the first time in many years, he sounds generic and autotuned to an extreme. These two songs do not represent Enrique Iglesias’s career since its only TWO BAD SONGS against 130 beautiful classics he has created. To say I’m Loving You Tonight is the worst song he has done would be honest. To say “Enrique Iglesias is one of the all-time great Worst of Music singers” is the most moronic ignorant statement ever. You don’t know who you’re talking about obviously.

Since you wanted to know, my current rotation includes Led Zeppelin, Paul McCarntney & The Wings, AC/DC, Arcade Fire, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Queen, Rush and The Rolling Stones (with random smatterings of other artists tossed in for fun). I like good music by musicians whose music means something other than a way to pick up women (apart from groupies, that’s an accepted part of the sex, drugs and rock & roll lifestyle).
And talented lyricist? Lennon/McCartney, McCartney/McCartney and Jagger/Richards. Enough said.

Completely right. Enrique has destroyed my eardrums since 1995, because unfortunately he started his career in Mexico (then Latinoamerica, Spain, USa…and so on)where stupid teenagers drove crazy with his “I´m being fucked by two black men” singing…well, that he and his record company wants to believe iss singing. He has become to million of people in deaf, because teres no explanation for his fans, at least they really like torture
