Entertainment Link-Off: Blockbuster Season Is Here

Leading off the Entertainment Link-Off this week is Lizzy Caplan. She recently appeared in the film Hot Tub Time Machine. That film is hilarious and is filled with some quite memorable one-liners. If you haven’t seen it, you should definitely go check it out.

After the jump, Roger Ebert hates 3D movies, a new Save Chuck campaign, a few tidbits on upcoming films and the Muppets released their commentary on the hit viral video Bohemian Rhapsody.

I can appreciate how 3D films can enhance the movie-going experience but those that use it for silly gimmicks is really ruining it for everyone. Roger Ebert writes about why he hates 3D and he does make some good points. Agree or disagree with his opinion, this is definitely another good read. (Newsweek)

It’s Chuck vs. the Fake Windows Laptop! In the thirteenth episode of Chuck, there was a unique product placement that many of you may have missed. Actually you may have caught it but found it to be a bit bizarre. It was the Windows brand laptop that showed up near the end of the episode. Now we all know it doesn’t exist, but kudos to Microsoft for attempting to create a mock Macbook to get the name out there. (The TV Addict)

Conan O’Brien will be spilling the deeds in the upcoming episode of 60 Minutes. I have a feeling he’ll dance around most of the questions, but I’m sure it’ll be quite entertaining. (CBC)
