The 23rd James Bond movie isn’t premiering in theatres for another seven months but the 24th movie in the famed film franchise has already been written and principal photography is set to begin in the upcoming months. The Humanoids: Bright Lights, Bigger City

As I’m wont to do when I get to travel to the centre of the universe, occasionally also referred to as Toronto, today’s column focuses on the small town perspective of the big city. I don’t really get to Toronto very often but I find it such a fascinating place to go. It’s so different from what I’m used to in my daily routine that it really can be a bit of a shock. After all, I come from a town where public transit consists of bus routes where you see the bus once an hour. Toronto has buses, subways, GO trains and streetcars. But that wasn’t originally the plan for the Letterman spot. Dave wanted a bigger and/or more crowded couch. (The Wrap)

And it’s the movie moment we’ve all been waiting for. It’s the red band trailer for Kevin Smith’s Cop Out. It’s better than the green band trailer and you will want to see it after watching this. (Film Drunk)

After the jump, a ridiculous John Mayer interview, revealing James Bond mistakes, and a video. Continue reading

The Top Ten James Bond Theme Songs

Today, I’ve decided to do something a little different. If you listened to the season finale of the radio show (and if you missed it, you can find it here), you would remember we used the theme from the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me in the “Your Life in Song” segment. While it was a great song, I wasn’t entirely sure that it was the greatest Bond theme ever. So I decided to figure out what was the greatest Bond movie theme song of all time. Continue reading
