Li-Bingbing-Giambattista-Valli-Couture-Transformers-Age-Of-Extinction-New-York-PremiereTransformers: Age of Extinction crashes into theatres this weekend with a bang! Tons of action and random product placements too! For those looking for some Dinobot action, you might be disappointed to see that the film features much less of them than what the trailer might suggest. Anyway, let’s kick off with another cast member from the film. Here’s the kickass Li Bingbing.

After the jump, Pacific Rim 2 is now officially happening, another fun zombie rom-com on the way, we will not see a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover, Community is not dead yet and check out the ‘hipster Fight Club’.

Early buzz for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is full of praises! (Slashfilm)

Dracula Untold doesn’t look great but it doesn’t look bad either. On the bright side, the cast seems alright despite some lackluster CGI. Oh it helps that Charles Dance a.k.a. Tywin Lannister is the big baddie right? (Apple)

Good news! Pacific Rim 2 is really happening now! Bad news? Gotta wait til April 2017 til we get to see more Jaeger/Kaiju action. (Buzzfeed)

Despite some controversy in Bryan Singer’s personal life, FOX still wants to bring him back to direct X-Men: Apocalypse. (THR)

The film Boyhood is making its rounds at the film festivals and I gotta say, it has quite the interesting concept. The film was 12 years in the making. Can you have a guess at what the budget might be? (Variety)

Shane Black has been tapped to helm the next Predator movie and he has revealed that the film will be more of a sequel rather than a reboot of the franchise. Good news? (Collider)

Life After Beth looks like a fun zombie rom-com. It’s also refreshing to see Dane DeHaan tackle a comedic film after a string of serious roles. (MTV)

Tornadoes are everywhere in the new trailer for Into the Storm. (Apple)

Just to add more to your anticipation. A cappella group Pentatonix will be appearing in Pitch Perfect 2! (Entertainment Weekly)

Sure, the comics had a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover thing going on, but it looks like the producer is not up for the idea in the film franchise. (MTV)

Transformers: Age of Extinction is not a good movie. On the bright side, at least it was entertaining. In an interview with screenwriter Ehren Kruger, at least the dude admitted that he was essentially part of a glorified B-movie. (Slashfilm)

Looks like Dr. Oz isn’t getting his licence revoked anytime soon even though he is giving out bs advice on TV. (VOX)

Speaking of Dr. Oz, did you catch John Oliver’s epic rant?

While it was reported earlier that Hulu has decided against picking up Community for a sixth season, now it seems like Community’s potential revival ain’t dead yet. (The Wrap)

Music recommendation of the week. Tablo revealed his take on Taeyang’s Eyes Nose Lips in the second of YG Family Cover Project. It sounds pretty darn good. Have a listen.

The running joke is that this video is essentially a ‘hipster Fight Club’. Whatever conclusion you come to, have a look at The Slap. What was originally meant to be a parody of the strangers first kiss video turned into something quite interesting.
