Nearly four months of workouts, practices and games has led us to one final game for national supremacy. The Laval Rouge et Or come into the game undefeated and hope to complete their season by winning the national championship at home. CIS Morning Warmup: National Semi-Finals
In honour of this week’s Vanier Cup semi-final games, we’ve retired the OUA Morning Warmup and replaced it with the CIS Morning Warmup. The coverage is the same but the name has been changed to protect the writer from accusations of OUA bias. Today, we have a double-header of national semi-final games as we’ve reached the final four in Canadian university football. The OUA champion Western Mustangs will travel to Quebec City to battle the undefeated and national #1 Laval Rouge et Or in the Uteck Bowl. In the other game, the Calgary Dinos host the Saint Mary’s Huskies in a rematch of one of last year’s semis in the Mitchell Bowl. Continue reading
