It’s that time of year again. DJ Earworm has mashed up the year’s top 25 songs into a mega-mix mashup for the United State of Pop 2011. This year’s is a pretty accurate representation of the year in music. It has a fast tempo, a driving beat, the lyrics are indecipherable and it’s generally painful to listen to. That’s not a shining endorsement of the song but it does sum up 2011 in music perfectly. Of the 25 songs the DJ Earworm uses, 15 are winners of the Worst of Music award.
