Worst of Music: Pitbull – Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)

If you were to ask me who is the worst new artist over the last two years, Pitbull would definitely make the short list. Since he properly burst onto the scene, Pitbull, formerly known as, Armando Perez, has graced us with such all-time classics as I Know You Want Me and Hotel Room Service. Well, he’s back again and he’s brought a friend along. Featuring T-Pain, it’s Pitbull’s new great song Hey Baby.

I’m not sure who is more unintelligible in this song. Autotune is not a language that I speak. Pitbull isn’t on either because it always sounds like he’s mumbling in his songs. Have the two autotune and mumble on top of each other and you get a headache. Pitbull doing his best attempt to cover Push It without getting is just sort of weird considering that Glee also did that song. And doesn’t Pitbull just look like the sort of guy that you would slug if you saw him in person.

So congrats, Pitbull. You’ve won the prestigious Worst of Music award for this week.

Have a better WoM candidate for next week? Drop it in the comments.
