I was fairly certain that the field for the 2011 Worst of Music award was set by this point of the calendar. Rebecca Black’s Friday and Pitbull’s Give Me Everything were the clear frontrunners with a half-dozen or so darkhorses with an outside chance. Well, the top two just got some company thanks to this week’s WoM winner. I thought the backing music was back but add in the atrocious lyrics and you suddenly have a song which contends for the worst of the year.
