Sunday Link-Off: Worlds Will Collide

lily collinsIt’s Sunday morning, and it’s time for another installment of the link-off. Steve is off this weekend as he is exploring the awesomeness of Fan Expo. It’s only fair I sub in for him as he’s been doing that for me everytime I can’t get around to the ELO. Kicking off the SLO today is Lily Collins. You can catch her in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, which is apparently not doing so hot in theatres at the moment.

After the jump, guys aren’t as shallow as you think, apparently we all need to be potty trained again, Obama wants less school for law students, a few “what were they thinking?!” moments, the elderly reacts to Bieber and watch one of the best “come on down” moments in The Price is Right.

Ok, let’s get things straight. Guys are not as shallow as the media makes us. When it comes to women, apparently we notice the eyes first, not their boobs. That being said, boobs still rank in the top 3. (Daily Mail)

Here’s some poop for thought. Apparently the way we take dumps is incorrect. I guess everyone in Western society need to go through another course of potty training. (Wonder How To)

Attention prospective law school students, if Obama gets his way, you can finish law school in 2 years instead of 3! (Washington Post)

Gym-goers aren’t exactly the most efficient people. An average person would end up wasting 30 minutes doing nonsense rather than actually working out. (Daily Mail)

Apparently fish can make you less of a criminal. (ABC)

Google cares about your privacy too! They removed the boyfriend tracker app and it’s causing quite a stir. (News.com.au)

This must have been an awkward conversation when this technician got home. “Hey honey, how was work today?” “Oh not too bad, I just knocked out electricity to 60000 homes and caused traffic chaos in rush hour.” (The Telegraph)

This could easily slide into any ELO. There are reports that Justin Timberlake is rejoining with his NSYNC bandmates for a performance in the near future. (The Independent)

Steve would put this in the “What Were They Thinking?!?!” board. Maria Sharapova is looking for a quickie name change… for about two weeks. The name in question is apparently “Sugarpova”. Umm… yes there is a good ring to it. (The Project)

I’m sure most of you have seen the faux news about Samsung paying a settlement with Apple in pennies right? Well, a similar thing happened in real life. An angry ex-wife decided to pay her settlement with her ex-husband in pennies just out of spite. Good on ya. (News.com.au)

Apparently sitting is a silent killer. (News.com.au)

This could possibly be the worst zoo in the entire world. (Daily Mail)

A US hospital got fined for putting poop bacteria into patient’s brains. The odd part, the fine wasn’t all that big for this shitty mistake. (Gizmodo)

For a good laugh, watch the elderly react to Justin Bieber.

Huge fan of pick-up basketball and yes I have seen all these stereotypes before.

This has got to be one of the best “come on down” ever on The Price is Right!
