The Best of F My Life (Part 5)

It’s time for another part in our ongoing series in the best of the interweb that can help you through your day. We haven’t looked at the best of the hilariously depressing stories of F My Life since March 2011 so let’s make up for it now. After all, it’s the best site to go to for stories that make your life seem just that little bit better because it could be so much worse.

(All stories in this post should be considered sic’d.)

Today, is the third day since I opened my small coffee shop. My parents had given me a nice frame to put my first dollar from working in. I had to sneak in a dollar from my own wallet so they wouldn’t know how bad business was when they came to visit. FML

Today, I received my first negative feedback on my otherwise flawless eBay record. The woman who bought the item said it wasn’t as delicious as she was expecting, so there must be something wrong with it. What was I selling? A new and unopened lipstick. FML

Today, I went to the circus with my family. When we were looking at the animals during the break, an elephant took my purse with his trunk and ate it. It crushed my cellphone, camera, keys and wallet. After that, the circus director yelled at me for feeding poisonous stuff to his elephant. FML

Today, I was using a public toilet when someone entered the stall next to mine. Instead of using the facilities, the person in there reached under the stall to steal my bag. Fortunately, I was holding the strap so they couldn’t take it. Unfortunately, they decided to take my right shoe instead. FML

Today, I found an empty parking space in a crowded parking lot. When I came back later, a lady and a cop were standing by my car. Her car used to be parked there and got stolen. They think I’m involved. FML

Today, I was at the mall with my friend. A lady came up to us and told my friend that she could be a model. Then the lady looked at me and said, “Oh… Nice shoes.” FML

Today, I went to see my dermatologist friend for a free consultation on my terrible acne. During my visit, she said I probably won’t be getting any more pimples. Excited, I asked her how she could tell. She replied, “There’s no more room for it.” FML

Today, while I was on stage dancing for a competition dress rehearsal, my top fell off, exposing my breasts. I was really embarrassed, but fortunately no one said anything about it. That is until a kid in the audience came up to me and said, “That was a disappointment.” FML

Today, my friend told me she was going to start drinking gatorade, so she could get the body shape of the athletes on TV. When I tried to explain to her that she’d also need to work out to achieve this, she went nuts and hurled the bottle at my face. FML

Today, my parents grounded me for finding their stash of weed. The irony is killing me right now. FML

Today, my friend showed off her new tattoo, which is supposed to say “bad bitch” in Italian, and I had to point out that it actually says “defective female”. Her response was to cuss me out and inform me that I’m no longer part of her social circle. FML

Today, I was at work when a co-worker decided it would be funny to email me from my boss’s computer to tell me I had been laid off. It wasn’t funny when I was fired for real after “skipping work without giving notice.” FML

Today, a man on the bus questioned my sexuality for being a male nurse. I asked him what he did and he said he worked in a garage. When I pointed out that I work with sexy nurses all day and he works with sweaty guys, he punched me in the stomach. FML

Today, I was out to coffee with an extremely attractive friend. A crazy man came up to the window we were facing. He took one look at her, then turned to me with a big, congratulatory smile, flashing me a thumbs-up. Then he turned to her, frowned disappointedly and gave a thumbs-down. FML

Today, I went to my girlfriend’s house to break up with her. It was a hard decision and both of us became quite emotionally overwhelmed at the time. We began to hug as a final goodbye, then her mum burst in the room and yelled, “HE FINALLY PROPOSED!” FML

Today, my sister asked me if I was going to be getting married “for real” this time, because she didn’t want to waste her money like she did on my previous engagement. The reason that one didn’t work out in the first place is she slept with my fiancé. FML

Today, while at my ex-girlfriend’s wedding, I had to hear her explain how she met the love of her life. This happened in the four years we were dating. FML

Today, after careful consideration, I told my wife I really want to have kids. She laughed, until she finally realized I was serious, at which point she flicked me in the balls and said, “Problem solved.” FML

Today, while I was driving home, some jackass in an open-top sports car overtook us and flipped me off. Just as I overtook him in turn, my wife rolled down her window, pulled out her tampon, and launched it at the kid. I’m not sure who was more horrified: me or him. FML

Today, I trimmed my beard. When I showed my wife, she said, “Yeah, but you still look like a serial killer.” FML
