After two weeks, we finally exited the regions stages of the competition and are left with only four women who can take home the crown of the Hottest Canadian for 2012. The Elite Eight was closely contested and left us with three upsets and only one #1 seed surviving out of the three that made it to the round of eight. 2012 Hottest Canadian: Elite Eight
We’re down to the eight hottest Canadian women as voted by our readers. This round is our regional finals as each of the four “regions” that we broke the bracket into crown their champions. Upsets were in abundance in the Sweet Sixteen as three of our eight matchups had the lower seed pulling off the win. We even saw our first #1 seed bite the dust. 2012 Hottest Canadian: Maritime Region – First Round
We’re down to the final of our four regions in our first Hottest Canadian showdown. When creating the bracket, we ranked all women from 1 to 32. By coincidence, then, the Maritime Region has become the underdog bracket.
