It’s the first day of the second round of the 2012 Hottest Canadian showdown. The original field of 32 has been cut in half to 16. Our first half of the Sweet Sixteen features a pair of upset winners from the Shield Region looking to advance to the Elite Eight. The Arctic Region was all chalk as the favourites made their way to the Sweet Sixteen.
