What happens when someone tries to create their own brand-new Christmas classic? An absolute disaster. Almost nothing comes out worse than an artist trying to make a quick buck with a Christmas album and those efforts get exponentially worse when releasing a brand new Christmas song. No one has been immune from this for at least the last 20 years. That includes Justin Bieber’s new song Mistletoe.

Oh, I get it. It’s not a Christmas song. It’s just a generic love song that happens to be set at Christmas… WHICH MAKES IT A CHRISTMAS SONG BY DEFAULT!!! As a love song, it’s bland and uninteresting. As a Christmas song, it’s offensively bad. And his whole bloody Christmas album goes on in crimes against people who can hear. Christmas should be the domain of the like of Bing Crosby. Another problem with this song is that Bieber thinks he’s black. No, Justin, you’re a pasty white kid from Stratford. Get over it! Calling a girl “shawty” makes you sound like the pasty white tool that you are.

So congrats, Bieber. You’ve won the prestigious Worst of Music award for this week.
