Normally, Worst of Music winners are people who I’ve heard of. But I guess that’s why I use the Billboard Hot 100 to help me find WoM winners. For example, I haven’t heard of Jeremih but apparently he’s good enough to get 50 Cent to feature on his latest single called Down on Me.

Before you start hating, remember these two things: 1) I like rap; and 2) I absolutely detest autotune. I actually sounds like Jeremih should be able to rap with some of the faster-paced rappers out there right now. The only problem is that he decides to go the autotune route here. That changes a song that could have been a very good and very normal rap song to an autotune abomination. At least 50 is good in his parts. And I’d comment on the lyrics but I just can’t make heads or tails of half the things that Jeremih is trying to say.

So congrats, Jeremih. You’ve won the prestigious Worst of Music award for this week.
