Worst of Music: Justin Bieber – Never Say Never

What happens when you mix Justin Bieber with a hip-hop beat, autotune, uninspired lyrics written for a kids movie soundtrack and a 12-year-old kid as a featuring artist? You get this week’s Worst of Music. If the remake of Karate Kid wasn’t bad enough, Justin Bieber’s theme song for that movie was the icing on the remake cake. Anyway, let’s get the pain over with. It’s Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never.

Like I said up top, this song combines the “hip-hop” stylings of MC Biebs or whatever he’ll reinvent himself as after his balls drop. He’s autotuned to make him just that touch more insufferable. The song does have one upside though. You see, the aforementioned 12-year-old in this song is Jaden Smith and his voice is actually deeper than Bieber’s. Clearly, this means that Bieber is using some sort of voodoo to keep from reaching puberty.

So congrats, Bieber. As my birthday gift to you, you’ve just won the prestigious Worst of Music award for this week.

Have a better WoM candidate for next week? Drop it in the comments.
