Noon — NASCAR Countdown is under way on ESPN.

1 p.m. — Pastor Doug Bradshaw delivers the Invocation.

[SM: It was so good that people around me in the stands were laughing at it and calling it the worst rendition of the Star Spangled Banner they ever heard.]

1:12 p.m. — The drivers are rolling off pit road for warm-up laps.

Lap 19 — All three of the RCR cars are running in the top seven. Kevin Harvick moves into third.
[SM: With Paul Menard joining the fold, I think we’ll be seeing a lot of “All four RCR cars are running in the top 30.”]

Lap 54 — Kevin Harvick is about two car lengths behind Greg Biffle and take the same line into Turn 3.
[SM: There was a lot of that in the early goings of the race. Second place would run in the tire tracks of the leader and make his move when he was ready.]
