Entertainment Link-Off: Feeling Blue

So I was off last week thanks to my wonderful busy schedule but I’m back! Let’s kick off the last weekend of June with The Saturdays! They got a brand new music video and you can take a look at that later on in this post.

After the jump, two movie trailers to look at, a few tidbits on the next Harold and Kumar film, some Inception stuff to blow your mind, new TV show alert, Disney + porn = social problems, nifty TV opening credits and the iPhone 4 has some nifty features.

He tried to pass the torch to someone else but it’s ended up back in his own hands. It looks like Peter Jackson will direct The Hobbit after all. (The Hollywood Reporter)

The first two installments were really funny, yet most of the jokes in the movie Little Fockers somehow falls flat. (Apple)

The new Green Hornet trailer has finally hit the net! Surprisingly, it doesn’t look half bad. (Yahoo) Who knew Seth Rogan and Jay Chou would make a good team?

So Prince of Persia may have been a flop in North America, but it still became the biggest grossing video game adaptation of all time! Take that Lara Croft! (Film Junk)

NPH is set to return in A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas. (Slashfilm)

More on the Harold and Kumar film, Patton Oswalt is in the movie!!! He also wants to target John Cho for some odd reason. (Slashfilm)

Looking forward to Christopher Nolan’s Inception? There’s more clips featuring some behind the scenes footage and video featurette to check out. (Collider)

Ok, so the official review hasn’t been posted yet but there’s already good buzz surrounding the upcoming film Inception. So what’s the only major drawback of the movie? It’s a little too smart for the average summer movie fare, so the box office numbers might suffer a bit. (NY Post)

Want to see Inception in 3D? Too bad, Christopher Nolan doesn’t have enough time to convert it during post-production. (Hit Fix)

Of course, if you don’t really know what’s going on with Inception, this video will at least introduce the characters of the film to you. (Slashfilm)

Everyone’s got unrealistic expectations and the source of all that is from Disney and porn. (The Daily What)

A movie based on Mark Zuckerberg and the rise of Facebook isn’t all that appealing. Throw in David Fincher to direct, it just might be worth checking out. (JoBlo)

The Last Airbender was one hell of an expensive film. Well, thanks to the cost of marketing that pretty much matched its production budget. Sell it all you want, but the film still doesn’t look all that great. (CHUD)

Good news: The Expendables won’t be rated PG-13! That means no “pansified” version of a film that gathers the awesome action stars out there. (AICN)

Looking for a Friday Night Lights replacement after the show ends its 5th and final season? This might be the show for you. (Collider)

Thank goodness someone on Glee realized too much of the show may not be a good thing! Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Glee-related casting reality show has been canned. (NY Mag)

New Canadian drama Rookie Blue premiered to fairly decent ratings earlier this week. In fact, it was the highest premiere among the scripted shows this summer! (TV by the Numbers)

Where Everwood alum lead, I will follow. The premise behind Rookie Blue didn’t really appeal to me but I decided to give the show a shot and it’s not bad. Anyway, The TV Addict caught up with one of the cast-members Gregory Smith to talk about this new drama as well as the good ol’ days on Everwood. (The TV Addict 1) (The TV Addict 2)

Oh while I’m at it, let’s throw in some Q&A with Rookie Blue stars Missy Peregrym and Gregory Smith. (National Post) (The Toronto Star)

Funny how Reaper alums are making rounds on summer TV this season. In fact, they’re both cop shows! Missy is on Rookie Blue while Jenny Wade is in FOX’s The Good Guys. Well this looks like my summer TV schedule is starting to fill up!

TV opening credits is a dying trend. In fact, take a look at the shows that you watch today. A good portion don’t carry the wonderful opening theme anymore. Anyway, that has never stopped fans from making their own! Take a look at a small list of some of the good ones out there on the net. My pick goes to the fan created openings for Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. (The TV Addict)

Well we all know that The Sarah Connor Chronicles got canned a while ago due to lackluster ratings. Perhaps throwing in some beeps into the dialogue would have saved the show. Certain people find the whole censoring process to be tacky, but it works for this video. In fact, it worked for The Lowdown as well.

If those vuvuzela’s aren’t already making your ears bleed, then you can tolerate this video as well. Turns out the instrument has made its way into Middle Earth and is causing quite the problem.

The iPhone 4 is truly revolutionary. In fact it can do so much that certain parts didn’t quite make it into the actual promotional video. Let Adam Scott and co. talk to you about this revolutionary device.

And finally before I go, here’s the music video for The Saturdays’ latest single “Missing You”. This might be one of the weakest singles they have released, but hey, the girls look great and the video was beautifully shot.

It’s caused by the sincerness communicated in the post I browsed. And on this post Entertainment Link-Off: Feeling Blue | The Lowdown Blog. I was actually excited enough to drop a commenta response 😉 I do have a few questions for you if it’s okay.
Could it be only me or does it look like like some
of the remarks come across like coming from brain dead
visitors? 😛 And, if you are posting on other social sites, I would like to keep up with you.
